Jon Tollefson founded Millennial PAC after ending his congressional campaign in Minnesota's Third District in April 2016. His campaign was about building communities that serve us all, so he decided to continue to campaign in a different capacity: through a Political Action Committee that advances issues important to our future and particularly to his own generation.
Jon began working on campaigns and being active in politics at the age of 16. His first boss in government, Congressman Martin Olav Sabo, taught him the importance of always focusing on the people and communities behind the politics. Jon graduated from Hopkins Public Schools in Minnesota and studied International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He was accepted into the U.S. Foreign Service in 2008 and served as a diplomat in Nigeria, Mexico, and Washington, DC.
After serving for five years, Jon returned home to advance Minnesota's technology and health care economy at the Minnesota High Tech Association and the Minnesota Nurses Association. He is engaged to be married to Josh Crosson. Jon is 100 percent volunteer on Millennial PAC and takes no pay.
